LOUISE BRIX ANDERSEN es una escritora y directora danesa multilingüe con un talento especial para contar historias profundas y complejas. A lo largo de su carrera, ha escrito, dirigido y montado numerosos cortometrajes, anuncios, vídeo clips y documentales. Su cortometraje NACÍ ASÍ está actualmente disponible en la plataforma de streaming Filmin. Su cortometraje más reciente, THE PILL se realizó durante la pandemia con la colaboración de profesionales de la industria de 9 países diferentes, producido por la productora Hollywoodense EXIT 44 Entertainment y la productora Español Limmat Films.

Louise también es la creadora y presentadora de la serie de entrevistas CHANGING THE NARRATIVE y ha publicado su primer libro llamado REMOTE FILMMAKING.

El largometraje documental NOAH, escrito, dirigido y co-editado por Louise y producido por Limmat Films y Bsglobaltv, fue promocionado por su protagonista en el popular programa de televisión española LA REVUELTA. La película tiene dos versiones, y ha estrenado tanto en televisión como en salas de cine.

Actualmente, Louise está trabajando para que su largometraje de ficción SISTERHOOD entre en producción. Fue seleccionada por L’Alternativa Festival de Cinema para participar en las jornadas de industria y el pitching profesional del Festival de Cine Terror de Molins de Rei.

Como cineasta, defensora de los derechos de la mujer, y socia de varias organizaciones internacionales y locales que tienen como objetivo promocionar la igualdad en la industria, es invitada a menudo como panelista en mesas redondas, ponente en masterclass y seminarios, y jurado de festivales de cine. También participa activamente en un grupo de trabajo cuyo objetivo específico es acabar con la violencia y el acoso machista, y además es co-fundadora y anfitriona del grupo THE LEADING LADIES, donde organiza reuniones mensuales para las mujeres del grupo.

LOUISE BRIX ANDERSEN is a Danish multilingual writer and film director with a flair for deep and complex stories. Throughout her career, she has written, directed and edited numerous short films, spots, commercials, music videos and documentaries. Louise’s short film NACÍ ASÍ is currently available on the streaming platform Filmin. Her most recent short film, THE PILL was made during the pandemic with the collaboration of industry professionals from 9 different countries across the world, produced by Hollywood-based production company EXIT 44 Entertainment and Barcelona-based Limmat Films.

Louise is also the creator and host of the interview-series CHANGING THE NARRATIVE and has published her first book REMOTE FILMMAKING.

Feature documentary film, NOAH, written, directed and co-edited by Louise and produced by Limmat Films and Bsglobaltv, was promoted by its protagonist in the popular Spanish TV program LA REVUELTA. The film has to two versions and has premiered both in television and in theaters.

Louise is currently also focused on getting her feature fiction film SISTERHOOD into production. It was selected by L’Alternativa Festival de Cinema to participate in the industry days and the professional pitching of the Film Festival Terror de Molins de Rei.

As a filmmaker, an outspoken advocate for women’s rights and equal opportunities, and a member of several international and local female-promoting organizations working towards gender equity in the industry, she is often invited as a panelist at round tables, a speaker at masterclasses and seminars and as a juror of film festivals. Furthermore, she participates actively in a work group which aims specifically at ending male violence and harassment and she is also co-founder and host of the group THE LEADING LADIES where she organizes monthly meetings for the group’s female members.
