I was born in Brussels in a multicultural family. After my studies in Literature&Linguistics, I went on to study Documentary Cinema at Escuela de Cine de Barcelona (ECIB).
I capture my surroundings through a variety of media using words, colours, (moving) images and sounds, always from an intersectional feminist perspective and with a pinch of absurdism.
In my creations, I enjoy playing with the borders of reality and fiction and deconstructing the mythical divide between the personal and the political. I mainly explore themes of power relations, identity politics, state violence, the relationship between nature and technology, as well as art itself as an meta-reflective and transitory medium.
My first feature documentary, Four Verses of Self Pleasure (Original title Mojarse en cuatro versos) tackles the taboo female masturbation and the importance of sexual empowerment.
