For many people facing serious illnesses, time is one of the most precious resources they have. Clinical trials play a vital role in bringing new treatments to those who need them, but the process can be long and complex. Behind every amendment, every stalled study, every added month, is a person waiting for a better outcome. We called this film Firsts, because that is what patients are really waiting for. A first step outside. A first meal together with their loved ones. A first moment that feels like normal again.
